A vibrant atmosphere modeled after Brussel's casual cafes, Belga Cafe is the original Belgian restaurant in Washington, DC. Opened in 2004, the neighborhood locale on Capitol Hill is known for its authentic cuisine, extensive craft beers and Genevers. Nice outdoor sitting area. Food was beautifully presented. Tastes good but slightly too salty for me (waffle with duck). Quiche was very good. Service was ok and can be better.

A taste of Belgium in the heart of DC. The food was well prepared and presented, service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed. The prices are eyebrow raising, then again we are in DC.
